Bad Style - Does it truly exist?

Clashing patterns, ill-fitted pants, weird boots and a feathery scarf, staples of an outfit many of us would title as horrendous. These so-called fashion crimes have surrounded our communities for as long as I can think of – perhaps even longer cause I´m only 20.

But to get to the bottom of this, is something truly a bad outfit or just a personal expression that we are not used to?

How deleting Social Media is changing my personal Style

Within my generation the use of social media has skyrocketed onto a level that needs to be further reflected on. Not only do we use social media to check up on the day-to-day of our besties, but also to get an insight on the “aesthetic” and “perfect” lives of complete strangers, we have never even met in real life. They show us what they eat, how they spent their time and, in this context, most importantly – what they wear.

Quiet Luxury - 2024 Normcore

I don´t know if you have heard about the 2014 era of wearing of basics in the most mundane way possible called Normcore.

After some investigation I stumbled across an article from Madsen and Satran - featured in the 2014 ID-Magazine about Modernism. It was called “There`s nothing/something special about normcore “.

Blumarine

Founded by Anna Molinari and her husband Gianpaolo Tarabini in Carpi, Blumarine became the “it-brand” of the 1990s.

Back in 1977 the couple created the brand inspired by the ocean surrounding their hometown Capri.

In the beginning of Blumarine Helmut Newtown shot their Ad campaigns and became a huge part of creating their signature look.

As mother nature travels through the seasons, making flowers blossom and temperatures rise, we perceive a sensation of abundant beauty. Each season possess this allurement with distinct characteristics making us feel connected to the elements of water, air, earth and fire.

My recent editorial recognizes these emotions and turns them into performative art in the realm of fashion. An ethereal scenery experienced by fully submerging oneself in nature.

Melancholy and Ecstasy

The euphoria exploding in oneself while listening to beats at 140 bpm speed. Berlins infamous clubbing scene has recently inspired me to base an editorial on four of my favorite techno hotspots.

Modeled by 4 of the most gorgeous girls, every look will represent the general aura I experienced while partying there.
